A blog collaboration is basically a blog post where many bloggers are asked to send in their own opinions about a common topic. It could be simply described as a guest post made by many bloggers.
Examples of a blog collaborations is this, and it is found on Robert Bravery’s blog where I participate actively .
Being part of the blog collaboration has brought me lots of benefits.
Here are a few.
1. Build Relationship
If you join in a blog collaboration exercise, you will slowly build a relationship with the owner of the blog and the readers on the blog.
This is important for growth.
2. Build Your Authority
Telling people what you know or do is a simple way of building your authority on that topic or niche.
3. Build Traffic
Your blog URL is usually posted along with your contribution. If you have an exceptional opinion, lots of people will check out your blog.
Also, the blog where the blog collaboration is done also gets lots of traffic. Traffic comes from the participating bloggers, readers and traffic from retweets of the post.
Blog collaborations will obviously have more retweets because the participating bloggers are obliged to retweet the post. This means more traffic to the blog.
4. Increase Links To Your Blog
Your blog URL posted on the collaboration post will add up to the number of links to your blog.
Imagine what would happen if you join 10 collaboration every month.
5.Learn From Others
It is impossible to know everything about any topic but it is great to keep learning as much as you can about it. A blog collaboration is a great place to do this.
You get to learn how other people achieve the same goals by doing things their own way.
I have personally gotten a lot from reading what others write in these collaborations. There are many other benefits . So look for one, join in one and have fun.

Blog collaboration is good and beneficial, no doubt for that. But to get into that, first you already have a good amount of credibility. It would really be easier if you already have an existing community.
Though it helps to get your community a little more bigger, but basically, your community is the one that will build it. It’s like you need to have some investment first before you can loan.
